Stay up to date with the latest happenings at CCG.

From workshops and gardening tips to community events and special projects, there's always something going on.

We have a regular calendar of activities (see below) and we have other events such as cooking days, guest speakers, visits to other gardens and producers, and lunches or dinners.

A monthly newsletter is published and emailed to members, keeping everyone up to date with CCG activities, achievements, challenges, and inspiring stories from our garden.

'Family Fun Friday' on the last Friday of the month, sees parents and carers of little ones come to the garden for a free morning of play, discovery, and socialisation

We encourage you to join us for our regular working bees every 1st and 3rd Sunday, where we come together to maintain and nurture our garden and attack some special projects. These are a great opportunity to meet others, share knowledge, and contribute to CCG's future.

Welcome new sponsors!

We are delighted to welcome a growing number of CCG garden bed sponsors since December 2023! Thank you to Kaye Carter for bringing these local businesses to the CCG family:

We look forward to working with you all for the benefit of the garden, and the community ♥️

Intergeneration connection
On Thursday 1 Feb, Year 8 students from Scots College assisted us with many tasks! Torn netting was replaced, a new ‘planting boat’ was filled, the internal garden was weeded, and some restoration work on our new adjacent bush block was done. The strawberry patches were rejuvenated, compost bays were mixed and consolidated, and existing garden beds were replenished. We can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have this energetic help from a group of young people… Thanks to all students, staff, and CCG volunteers for making it a productive day. Well done everyone!
